JMM: the initials of Jean Maxime Morel.
JMM Airworthiness builds and operates managed airworthiness systems for operators, shops and owners of helicopters and airplanes. The system keeps the record of what each aircraft is due: inspections, life-limited parts, airworthiness directives and service bulletins, and the documents that expire. It is in production at Franconaves, an Airbus and Safran approved shop at La Aurora airport, on a fleet of 48 helicopters.
JMM are the initials of Jean Maxime Morel, a Guatemalan pilot who worked at Franconaves and at Beechcraft. The company carries his name because it inherits his trade. The brand behaves like a surname on the door of a technical practice: it does not shout, and it does not go out of fashion.
The company works from Guatemala. The national registry holds 203 civil helicopters, and the 48 in production on the system are maintained at La Aurora.
